Home, Student and Academy Agreement

The Academy is committed to ensuring, through the provision of the best possible teaching, curriculum and pastoral support, that every child is able to reach his or her full potential.

Our Expectations

We expect our students to work hard, be nice, and use their common sense.

Our Curriculum

The Academy will ensure that all students have access to a curriculum that is characterised by breadth, balance, relevance, differentiation and progression.

Extra-curricular Activities

The Academy offers excellent extra-curricular opportunities, summer school programmes, trips and residential visits.

Student Welfare

The key personal development structure is the vertical tutor system that permeates the entire Academy. Each student and staff member (teaching and non-teaching) belongs to one of four houses.
