The Ebbsfleet Academy fully recognises that academic achievement and good discipline can only flourish in an atmosphere in which the individual feels valued and secure.
The needs of students as individuals and their physical, moral, intellectual, social and emotional development therefore form the basis for The Ebbsfleet Academy's pastoral arrangements.
Our vertical tutoring system (tutor groups with a mix of ages) means tutors have much more contact with individual students, and it has shown that students create friendship groups across and between years.
On entry into the academy, each student will be allocated to one of four Houses. Our House system provides both a vehicle through which children from different year groups can work collaboratively and a focus for friendly academic and non-academic competition.
