I am delighted to welcome you to our website. I hope that you find all the information you are looking for. We are a dynamic and successful 11-18 academy serving the local community. We have students of all abilities and from a wide variety of backgrounds, all of whom contribute to the richness of our school population.
Our curriculum is based around the needs of our students and consists of a rich blend of academic and vocational qualifications, all supported by fantastic learning resources including outstanding sports facilities, as well as modern, generously equipped classrooms, workshops and laboratories. All areas are served by excellent ICT facilities. Working together, in partnership with all stakeholders but especially parents and carers, we are creating a dynamic and innovative learning institution.
Our ambition is to ensure that all of our students achieve their potential, develop as courteous, confident and capable young people and leave with an education that has fully equipped them to go on to university or the career of their choice.

The Ebbsfleet Academy has decided to take part in the amazing #HelloYellow event in support of YoungMinds. Their aim is to encourage togetherness, boost wellbeing, increase creativity and awareness within schools, especially since over the last few months, the world has changed for us all. Together, we can help even more young people and their families at a time when it's needed most - looking after our wellbeing has never been more important. The crisis in children and young people's mental health is real and urgent which is why it's so important for resources such as the YoungMinds crisis messenger to be available 24/7. On World Mental Health day, our principal at the Academy, Gurjit Kaur Shergill, stated, "The mental health and wellbeing of all our students is incredibly important. However you are feeling right now is valid. With the right help and support we can get through this together" To show our support today, students and staff at the Academy added something yellow to their uniform. If you would like to show your support, you can donate £1 to YoungMinds using bank transfer, by post, via phone, or on the online fundraising page at https://justgiving.com/campaign/helloyellow2020. Last Friday The Ebbsfleet Academy welcomed a team from Elevate Education to deliver their first study skills session to all of year 11,12 & 13. This is the first of many sessions coming over the next few months to help prepare students for their exams this academic year. The students thoroughly enjoyed the session, with 95% of students who would recommend this seminar to others and 97% of students stated that the seminar was time well spent. Students are looking forward to Friday 13th November (Academy Day) for the next round of sessions which will cover Acing your Exams and Memory Mnemonics. Alongside the student sessions parent sessions have also been offered to inform parents of some of the strategies that they can use to help their children at home. One Ebbsfleet Academy parent commented on the parent session last week saying "Thank you for organising this, I sat the webinar last week and found it really interesting, and was going to thank you for giving us the opportunity". The second webinar is next Wednesday 14th October at 6pm, when we will be focusing on time management and organisation.
