Our ambition is to ensure all our students achieve their potential & develop as courteous, confident and capable young people. Our curriculum is supported by fantastic learning resources with modern & generously equipped classrooms, ICT facilities, workshops and laboratories. Working together, in partnership with our stakeholders, especially parents and carers, we are creating a dynamic and innovative learning institution.
What an EPIC last week of term! We held a fantastic Sports Day last Friday which was won by Bell House. New school records were set in Year 7 Boys High Jump, Year 9 100m and also Year 10 Shot putt. Charity week saw teachers soaked, cakes sold, and guess the baby competitions held. This culminated in a non-uniform day, and over £700 has been raised to share between the House charities; Demelza, Cancer Research UK, Young Minds and Cherished Memories. Thursday night was the much anticipated Year 11 Prom and it was lovely to see our former students in their finery. Now for a well deserved break for students and staff. Enjoy your holiday and see you in September. "We are not put on this earth to see through one another. We are put on this earth to see one another through" - Gloria Vanderbilt
Today was our final Academy Day of the year. All students were off timetable taking part in a variety of enrichment projects. Year 7 spent the day designing an eco-classroom with support from EDC, DEC schools and other industry partners. Year 8 used their skills of deduction and forensic science techniques to solve a murder mystery. Year 9 re-enacted the United Nations and debated a number of topics from women's rights to how to deal with a zombie apocalypse, while Year 10 prepared for their exams by brushing up on their study skills in an Elevate education session. What clues can you see at our crime scene?
Earlier this term, over 200 students and staff took part in our EA5K, with some phenomenal times being recorded. Year 7, Oakley Andrews, was the 1st finisher in an impressive 21 minutes and 28 seconds. Yasmin Sadique, was the 1st female student finisher, and Mr Schofield and Ms Shergill, were the winners for the staff. We have been delighted to welcome the Year 6's from Manor Community Primary School for their transition taster day today. They took part in a variety of lessons and got to experience a day in the life of an Ebbsfleet student. Ms Shergill, Principal, said "It is fantastic to see all the new faces that will be joining our family in September. Unfortunately, Covid restrictions mean that we have not been able to offer this opportunity to all incoming students but we look forward to seeing them all for our Summer School in August." What an EPIC day – Thank you Manor Primary Year 6! #transitionday #newschool
