Year 11 & 13 Leavers Information
Please find the timetable of activities below
From the 7th June 2021, we have arranged a variety of remote activities for Year 11 and Year 13 students to complete between then and the 25th June. A timetable outlining the activities is attached.
Please note that whilst the majority of these activities are delivered remotely, Year 11 students who are sitting the functional skills English exam are expected to be in school on Tuesday 8th June and Thursday 10th June. If your child is participating in this you will already have received notification via email.
Year 11 Students who have made successful applications to EA6 will be in school on Wednesday 9th to Friday 11th June completing their induction programme. The dress code for the induction is smart business attire.
As you can see from the timetable on Monday 7th June and Tuesday 8th June from 9.30 – 12.30pm we have arranged ‘live’ virtual workshops focused on the ‘world of work’. These sessions are delivered remotely. Students should attend these sessions as they cover important skills such as CV and application writing, interview skills and careers networking.
We have also identified a large range of resources to help students with their onward study. Students should pick activities which match their post-16 course. There are also suggested wellbeing activities students can complete.
If students do not have access to the internet or a suitable device to access these sessions please get in touch as we have a stock of laptops and data enabled SIMS and will be running a small in school provision if there is a need. If you would like more information on either of these please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Year 11 and 13 on their hard work this year and wish them every success in the future. We looked forward to seeing students on A Level results day, Tuesday 10th August, and GCSE results day, 12th August. More details of how these days will be run will be emailed to you soon.
