Ebbsfleet Academy

The Ebbsfleet Academy Foodbank

Even though the school is closed, to all but our critical worker and vulnerable students, our school community is still alive.

These are very challenging times for everyone within our community and the country and we all have a part to play. Prior to Christmas, The Ebbsfleet Academy held an inter-house competition for donations to our community Foodbank.

This resulted in a large number of items being donated and we have been delighted to be able to distribute these to our most vulnerable families this week. It has been a huge success with more & more families accessing this provision. The families have been really grateful for this unexpected help in these difficult times. We have also been fortunate enough to receive donations from Hive Hope to assist our community.

“Many people are struggling during this post-Christmas period, and the closure of the schools has affected us all in different ways. We are here to help to ensure that no one, within our community, should go hungry or without sanitary products during this difficult time or at any time.” - Gurjit Kaur Shergill, Principal at The Ebbsfleet Academy

We are still here to give you support and access to food parcels and sanitary products. If you need help, or know a family that needs help, please call us on 01322 623100 or email us at admin@theebbsfleetacademy.kent.sch.uk to arrange for items to be available for you to collect.
