The Ebbsfleet Academy

Hear From Our Student Leaders

The Ebbsfleet Academy is delighted to introduce you to the Head Boy and Head Girl, who together along with a wider prefect team, demonstrates the school's commitment to promoting student leadership.

Head Boy - James

Although starting a new school is scary, The Ebbsfleet Academy will welcome you warmly and you will be given the opportunity to fit in with the other students in your own year group and beyond via tutor time, assemblies and clubs.

Having the benefit of being at the Academy since Year 7, I have been able to see the progression of all the teachers and other staff members from around the academy having individually done an excellent job.  I can certainly say a massive thank you to all the staff at the academy because if it wasn’t for them then I wouldn’t be here now in this position as Head Boy and studying for my A-Levels.

Although, Iulisa and I, may be the older students setting an example for the younger years, we’re still regular students, working hard towards our education. So, if you have any questions for us when you come to the academy, come find us!

Lastly, I have always dreamed of becoming the Head Boy for the academy. This shows that all you need to reach your aspirations or dreams is to keep working hard and you will get there. Remember: Be Ready, Work Hard, Be Nice.

Head Girl - Iulisa

Welcome to The Ebbsfleet Academy. My name is Iulisa and I am here for you. It does not matter who you are or what your interests are, I am excited to welcome all of your ideas and feedback.

There may be a few years between us but I went through the same experience as you will. I am more than ready to let you know what to expect and lend an ear to whatever you are concerned about or may need. I will be your voice in this academy and make all of your great ideas be heard.

Fitting in our academy and adjusting may be difficult at first but you will definitely find the right people to have around you. I found change difficult, we all have. However, the teachers and the students are here to support us and navigate us to the right path.

Anything is possible.  James (Head Boy) and I have always hoped to become the Head Boy and Head Girl of this Academy and look at how far we have come! Anything is possible because your achievements will be heard and celebrated within this family.

Come and find me in September and introduce yourself! Remember: Be Ready, Work Hard and Be Nice.
