Kent Teacher of the Year Award 2021
Nominations are now open
This year has presented us with a number of challenges and many sectors have already been recognised for the tireless way they have worked to support their communities. However, sometimes the exceptional work of individuals may seem to have gone unnoticed, so the Kent Teacher of the Year Award provides an opportunity to formally and publicly recognise the hard work of those the Education sector and thank them for all they do.
The Education People support the KM Charity Team in delivering the Kent Teacher of the Year Awards and we would appreciate your help in sharing these details as widely as possible to give them the chance to nominate a member of school staff who has demonstrated exceptional work during this period.
Anyone can nominate and it’s not only teachers who are recognised – these awards celebrate every role in schools; school support staff, site staff, classroom teachers, headteachers, volunteers or the pastoral team to name but a few. All nominees will receive official notification of their nomination to make them aware of how much they are appreciated by their colleagues, students and their communities.
The final awarding decision will be made by a panel of judges of who will consider each entry and have the difficult task of selecting the final winners.
Winners from every district will be honoured in an awards ceremony, with the overall countywide winners announced on the night. In addition, a pre-recorded version of the event will be aired simultaneously to allow everyone to celebrate their achievements in a way which suits them best.
It is simple to nominate someone. Just go to www.kmcharityteam.co.uk/ktoty and complete the online form.
