Charity Run - Stroke Association
A big thank you to all of the students and staff who came to the Stroke Association Resolution Run yesterday in memory of Mr Purvis. It was wonderful to see everyone getting out there and doing their best on a very hilly course! Well done to all who took part, and thank you to the parents/siblings (and puppies!) who came to support. A particular well done to Aaron Gray, who came first in the 5k run with an outstanding time of 22 minutes, having raised over £200 for the Stroke Association. The Stroke Association is the UK’s leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. They deliver services across the UK, campaign for better stroke care, invest in research and fundraise to expand their reach to as many stroke survivors as possible.
