16+ Travel Card

Information Regarding the Kent 16+ Travel Card

If you fulfil the eligibility criteria and wish to apply for the Kent 16+ Travel Card you can apply online to Kent County Council at the following website

Alternatively you can print and complete the PDF application form at the bottom of this page, and return it together with a passport size photograph to the following address:

Cards will be available for the first day of the new academic year if the application is received no later than 14 July 2017. Applications received after this date may be delayed.  Full payment of £400 must be made to the school and is required before the card is issued to the student.

It may be possible to assist some students with the cost of the travel card by way of a discretionary bursary.  Please ensure your bursary application, along with any supporting documentation, is submitted to the academy no later than 14 July 2017.  Information on how to apply for the bursary is available on the "16-19 Bursary Fund" page of our website (click here).

Payment for Kent 16+ Travel Card, available options:

Card payments: online via ParentPay
Cash: via a Paypoint store using barcode on the Kent 16+ travel card letter
Cheque: payable to The Ebbsfleet Academy and sent to:
