Google Classroom

We are pleased to announce that we have launched the Google Classroom platform. This will allow for the delivery of some ‘live’ lessons for each subject. At the bottom of this page is a student guide to help you access the platform.

Please note the for Year 7, 8 and 9 humanities subjects will be be running until the 22nd.

Year 7 Timetable

The timetable is colour coded. ‘Live lessons’ are highlighted green and ‘study periods’ are highlighted orange. For the live lessons the expectation is that students log in to the lesson. These will show on your Google classroom platform. Your teacher will deliver content for the lesson and set your tasks. Students will be able to ask their teachers questions via the comment box and the teacher will respond to these.

In study sessions students should complete the work previously set either by the teacher in live lessons or via the VLE. In independent study sessions students can work on any of the work that has been set throughout the week. For example, in maths we will deliver three live lessons and in addition students will complete tasks using Hegarty maths. Please Click here to download a full size version
